Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the O’Brien’s Plumbing & Air Conditioning online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

2. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
Full payment is required at checkout.

3. Delivery & Freight

• We offer local delivery and shipping across Australia.

• Delivery timeframes are estimates only.

• Some products may incur additional supplier freight charges, particularly for bulky or special-order items.

• Additional freight charges will be advised where applicable.

We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party freight providers.

4. Returns, Cancellations & Restocking Fees

• Approved returns must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging

• Return freight is at the customer’s expense

• A 30% restocking fee applies to all approved returns and cancelled orders

• Shipping costs are non-refundable

5. Warranty

All products are sold with manufacturer warranties only.

For supply-only products:

• O’Brien’s Plumbing & Air Conditioning acts as the supplier only

• Warranty claims must be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s process

6. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under the ACL:

• You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure

• You are entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure

These guarantees apply in addition to any manufacturer warranties.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential loss

• Incorrect installation or misuse of products

• Issues arising from third-party installers
