Yes. By law, virtually all electrical work in Victoria must be carried out by a licensed electrician working for a Registered Electrical Contractor. What is a Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES)?

A Certificate of Electrical Safety is your legal proof that electrical work was completed safely and to Australian standards by a licensed electrician. We provide one on every job where it's required.

Do I need a safety switch (RCD) in my home?

Safety switches protect against electric shock by cutting power in a fraction of a second when a fault is detected. Modern homes require them on most circuits, and many older Wangaratta homes still don't have adequate protection. We can inspect your switchboard and upgrade it if needed.
